METROPARK STATION Staten Island is a short drive away from Metropark Station, a train station located in nearby Iselin, N.J.

The Outerbridge Crossing, which opened to traffic on June 29, 1928, connects Perth Amboy, N.J., with Charleston.It also boasts “smart bridge” technology, which essentially means that the bridge’s structures are continuously monitored by sensors at “critical points.” The $1.5 billion cable-stayed bridge was completed in 2018 and features twin spans that each have three 12-foot wide lanes, 12-foot outer shoulders, and five-foot inner shoulders. The Goethals Bridge spans the Arthur Kill, linking Elizabeth, N.J., with the Howland Hook area of Staten Island.The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge connects Staten Island to Brooklyn.All E-ZPass tags on the account apply to the three trip minimum requirement.
